Galatasaray make €3.5 million per season offer for Soldado

Galatasaray have offered Roberto Soldado a €3.5 million per season deal according to the Turkish daily newspaper Fanatik.

The report states that Tottenham have given Galatasaray permission to discuss personal terms with the Spanish international.

Galatasaray are however yet to agree a transfer fee with the North London based club. Monaco are also understood to be monitoring the situation.

The Istanbul giants have set their sights on a new striker to take the load off their top scorer Burak Yilmaz.

Soldado joined Tottenham from Valencia for €30 million back in 2013 but has failed to live up to his price tag.

The 30-year-old scored just 1 goal in 24 Premier League appearances this season and has two years remaining on his contract with Tottenham.

Soldado is expected to leave this summer after losing his place in the starting line up to Harry Kane.

The Spanish international has scored seven goals in 12 appearances for the Spanish national team.

Galatasaray won the league title for a record 20th time last season and booked a place in next seasons Champions League group stages.
