Galatasaray manager Hamza Hamzaoğlu averages at 2.6 points per game

Galatasaray’s manager Hamza Hamzaoğlu has averaged at 2.6 points per game since being appointed on 28 November 2014 in place of Cesare Prandelli.

The Italian manager’s contract was terminated following a string of heavy defeats in the UEFA Champions League group stages.

Hamzaoğlu has the highest point average of any manager in the Super Lig.

The former Turkish national team assistant manager has been in charge for ten of  Galatasaray’s league games. The former Akhisar manager has won eight and drawn two of the ten games he has managed in the league.

Galatasaray currently sit at the top of the Turkish League with 48 points in 21 games and have won their last three games in a row. The Lions defeated Sivasspor by a 3-2 scoreline last weekend to overtake Besiktas and Fenerbahce.
