Galatasaray are preparing a €3 million bid for the HSV midfielder Tolgay Arslan.
According to the Turkish newspaper Milliyet, the Istanbul giants will offer the 24-year-old a pre-contract in January to sign Arslan at the end of the season if Hamburg reject the €3 million bid.
Arsenal are also keeping tabs on the Hamburg midfielder Tolgay Arslan.
Arslan’s contract with Hamburg runs out at the end of the season.
The Germany and Turkey U20 international moved to Hamburg from Dortmund in 2009 on a free transfer.
Arslan has started all 11 of Hamburg games in the Bundesliga and has made two DFB-Pokal appearances this season.
The hard working midfielder can represent either Turkey or Germany at international level but has vowed to play for the Crescent-Stars.
“I have played for Turkey and Germany at youth level but if Turkey were to give me a call up at senior level I would definitely accept,” Arslan said.
