Galatasaray prepare for Karabukspor encounter

Galatasaray  have turned their attention towards next weekends Turkish Super Lig clash against Karademir Karabukspor. The game takes place on Sunday March 5 at the Turk Telekom Arena.

Hazma Hamzaoglu gave his players a three day break after his sides 3-2 victory over Kasimpasa in the league. The Lions came back from two goals down to secure all three points and move to the top of the league.

Sabri Sarıoğlu and Semih Kaya only participated in light training due to injuries.  Hamit Altıntop, Selçuk İnan, Umut Bulut, Burak Yılmaz, Hakan Balta, Emre Çolak, Wesley Sneijder, Blerim Dzemaili, Aurelien Chedjou, Fernando Muslera and Bruma all missed training due to international commitments.

Karabükspor are without a win in their last 12 Turkish Super Lig games and lost 1-0 at home to Konyaspor last weekend.

Yilmaz Vural’s side are nine points off 15th placed Erciyesspor and need to improve fast if they are to have a chance of survival. Galatasaray are currently first in the league with 55 points in 25 games.
