Galatasaray president Duygun Yarsuvat has denied rumours linking Nordin Amrabat with a January return.

Amrabat is currently on loan at Malaga until the end of the season.

“We have 41 players in the squad and we are trying to reduce this number,” Yarsuvat said.

“Now if Amrabat comes we are going to have to pay his wages as well, are you all aware of this?

“I did not sign Amrabat, the manager who paid all that money for him is no longer here.

“This is not like doing business at the market, people are involved.”

The Morroccan international has been in impressive form at Malaga and has three assists and three goals in his last five league games.

Amrabat was recently named in Marca’s October La Liga Team of the Month.

The 27-year-old winger is currently out with a muscle tear injury he picked up while on international duty.
