Galatasaray have tabled an offer for Inter Milan’s Japanese right back Yuto Nagatomo according to the Italian newspaper Tuttosport.
The Italian paper states that Nagatomo has rejected an offer from Sampdoria and that Galatasaray are front runners to sign the 28-year-old.
Tuttosport goes onto state that Olympique de Marseille are also interested in the Japan international. Nagatomo is expected to leave Inter this summer after losing his place in the starting line-up.
Nagatomo provided two assists in 18 appearances for Inter Milan in all competitions last season. The 28-year-old has previously played for Cesena and FC Tokyo.
The attacking full-back has also been linked with a move to West Brom according to the Birmingham Mail.
Galatasaray will participate in the UEFA Champions League next season after securing their 20th league title this season. Inter Milan finished last season in eight place with 55 points in 38 games.
