Galatasaray have tabled and offer for Chelsea’s young striker Bertrand Traore according to the Turkish outlet Fotomac.
The report states that Galatasaray want to loan the Burkina Faso international on a season long loan with an option to buy.
Fotomac goes onto state that the Lions manager Jan Olde Riekerink is a fan of Traore. Galatasaray have been on the look-out for a new striker after offloading Burak Yilmaz to the Chinese Super League earlier this year.
The Istanbul Giants are also close to completing the transfer of the Switzerland international Eren Derdiyok.
The 20-year-old score five goals and provided one assist in 18 appearances for Chelsea last season. The young striker has two years remaining on his contract with the Premier League club.
Galatasaray take on Karabukspor in the opening game of the season on August 21. The Lion’s are unable to complete in European football this season after being suspended by UEFA for breaching financial fair play rules.
