Galatasaray take on Çaykur Rizespor in the Ziraat Turkish Cup tonight at the TT Arena.

The league cup represents Galatasaray’s only chance to lift silverware this season. The Lion’s also want to win the competition in order to serve out their European ban next season.

Galatasaray have been banned from European competition after breaching FIFA financial fair play regulations.

Jan Olde Riekerink’s side can qualify to the final with just a draw after recording a 3-1 victory in the first leg of the tie.

Galatasaray are likely to face Fenerbahce in the final after the Yellow Canaries defeated Konyaspor 3-0 in their first leg.

Riekerink is expected to field his strongest possible side but will be without the Netherland’s international Wesley Sneijder who is nursing an injury.

Galatasaray will however be able to call upon Sinan Gumus who has been declared fit following a long spell on the sidelines.
