Galatasaray target Adebayor expected to leave Tottenham in the summer

Tottenham striker Emmanuel Adebayor is expected to leave the club at the end of the season according to Star Africa.

Adeybayor is reported to have said, “I think it’s time for me to leave Tottenham and to look for a new destination . It will not be in the English Premier League for sure . I’ve received many good offers to play here but I would like to have a new experience in another country.”

Galatasaray are reported to be interested in the Togolese striker according to Sporx and are monitoring the situation closely.

Adebayor has one assist and two goals in 16 appearances for Tottenham this season.

The 31-year-old striker has previously played for Monaco, Arsenal, Manchester United and Real Madrid.

The Togo international has struggled to establish himself as a first team regular this season.

Fellow Süper Lig outfit Bursaspor are also reported to be closely linked with Adebayor was they continue their search for a marquee signing to coincide with their new stadium project.

The new stadium will have a 45,000 capacity and is being constructed within the vicinity of the regeneration of the Osmangazi area of Bursa.
