Galatasaray target completes £13.5 million move to Everton

Oumar Niasse Crystal Palace transfer news

Omar Niasse has completed his £13.5 million move to Everton from Lokomotiv Moscow.

Everton confirmed the news on their official twitter page and posted a picture of Niasse in an Everton jersey.

The Senegal international who has 13 goals and 10 assists already this season, has signed a four-and-a-half year deal at Goodison Park.

“It’s a great day for me, a big dream to play in the Premier League and a big dream to play for Everton,” Niasse told the club’s official website.

Galatasaray had been closely linked with the 25-year-old striker during the Hamza Hamzaoglu era.

The current Bursaspor manager was largely credited with putting Niasse on the map during his time at Akhisar signing him for just £175,000.

Niasse became one of the most highly sought after strikers in the Turkish Super League during his time at Akhisar scoring 15 times and providing seven assists in 40 appearances.

Lokomotiv eventually snapped him up on a £3.85 million move in 2014 where he went onto net 19 goals in 42 games.
