Galatasaray beat Balçova 3-1 at the Türk Telekom Arena to secure a first place finish in the Turkish Cup Group G.
Balçova took the lead when Say opened the scoring on 13 minutes but the one goal advantage was short lived.
Yasin Öztekin and Goran Pandev both scored for the Turkish giants while Aksoy scored an unfortunate own goal.
The Lions overtook Eskişehirspor on goal difference at the top of the table joining EsEs on 12 points.
EsEs lost 1-0 against Diyarbakir BB earlier in the day, a draw would have been enough to secure Michael Skibbe’s side a first place finish.
The Lions will take on Konyaspor next in the Turkish Cup Last 16.
Konyaspor finished Group H in second place following a goalless draw with Gençlerbirliği.
The Ankara based side topped the group following the draw against the Anatolian Eagles.
Galatasaray are currently 3rd in the Süper Lig on 39 points and are managed by Hamza Hamzaoğlu.
