Galatasaray to hold further talks with Serdar Tasci

Galatasaray are set to hold talks with both Serdar Tasci and his club Spartak Moscow this week.

Spartak Moscow have traveled to Antalya for their annual January training camp.

According to the Turkish newspaper Fanatik, Galatasaray board member Abdürrahim Albayrak will meet with Tasci’s agent Ahmet Bulut.

Galatasaray will also hold talks with Spartak’s representatives regarding a transfer fee for the 27-year-old.

The Istanbul Giants are looking to loan the German International until the end of the season.

The 27-year-old centre back has made 14 appearances for Germany but is eligible to play as a Turkish national in Turkey.

The experienced defender was born in Germany but has Turkish citizenship through his parents.

Taşçı joined Spartak on a £3.5m move from Stuttgart last season and still has two-years left on his contract.

The former Stuttgart player has one goal and provided on assist in 12 league appearances for Spartak Moscow this season.
