Galatasaray to make January move for Liverpool & Arsenal target

Galatasaray are preparing to make a move for the Liverpool and Arsenal target Klaas Jan Huntelaar in January.

The Istanbul Giants are set to make major changes to their squad during the up-coming transfer window.

Galatasaray are prepared to match the  €3.5 million per season that Huntelaar currently earns at Schalke 04.

Wesley Sneijder is reported to be playing an important role in negotiations to help convince his compatriot to join him in Istanbul.

Huntelaar’s contract with the Bundesliga side runs out at the end of the season. The German club could opt to cut their losses and ensure they get some money for him in the New Year.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham have all expressed an interest in the Netherlands international.

The former Real Madrid striker has scored four goals in eight appearances so far this season.

Huntelaar scored a goal in his side’s Champions League opener against Chelsea last month.
