Gaziantepspor prepare for Kasımpaşa clash
Gaziantepspor have turned their attentions towards the weekend’s Turkish Super Lig clash against Kasimpasa.
The Falcons lost 1-0 against Başakşehir last weekend in a tightly contested game played at the Fatih Terim stadium. The loss put an end to the Gaziantepspor three match win streak on the road.
Gaziantepspor are currently in 8th place having lost four of their last five games and know another defeat could see the slip to 11th place by the end of the week.
Manager Okan Burak lead the session today at the Celal Doğan training facility. New transfer Ognjen Vranjes could only participate in light training due to injury.
Oğuzhan Türk will miss this weekends encounter with Kasimpasa due to a suspension.
Burak spoke with reporters after training about the remaining 13 games of the season.
“There are no longer any easy games in the league,” Burak told Anadolu Agency.
“We want to win and secure our place in the league.”
Gaziantepspor host Kasimpasa at the Kamil Ocak stadium on Sunday at 11:00 (GMT).
