Gençlerbirliği have reached a deal for the Swedish club AIK’s midfielder Panajotis Dimitriadis.

LigTV have reported that the Swedish professional footballer of Greek descent has agreed a three-year-deal with the Ankara based side have.

Gençlerbirliği take on Besiktas in their final game of the season but will be without manager Mesut Bakkal who parted company with the club last week.

Bakkal replaced Irfan Buz who was fired from his job this morning following Gençlerbirliği’s 2-1 defeat to Eskisehirspor in February.

The Ankara based side had lost four games in a row and are were a win in six games when Bakkal took over.

Bakkal has previously managed Konyaspor, Karabukspor, Samsunspor, Ankaragucu, Sivasspor, Manisasor, Denizlispor and Gaziantepspor.

Gençlerbirliği have lost their last three games in a row and could finish the season in 12th place if they lose this weekend.
