Gençlerbirliği stretched their unbeaten home run to seven games following the 1-1 draw against Galatasaray at the 19 Mayis stadium.

The Ankara based side have not lost at home since the appointment of Irfan Buz as manager.

Buz’s assistant manager Naci Şensoy believes that Galatasaray were fortunate to leave Ankara with a point.

“We lost two points today,” Şensoy said.

“We have been improving with each game, I thought we were the better side and deserved more.

“Galatasaray should be pleased that they left here with a point. We created chances in the first half and second half and analysed the opposition well.

“Our aim was to secure 20 points by the end of 2014, we have already reached our goal.”

Gençlerbirliği moved into sixth place on 21 points following the draw against Galatasaray.
