Germany secured a 2-0 win over Georgia in their Euro 2016 qualifier with goals coming from Borussia Dortmund midfielder Marco Reus and Bayern Munich’s Thomas Mueller.

It took the World Cup winners until the 39th minute to break the deadlock, as Reus slotted in from close range after good work from Mario Gotze. The visitors extended their lead shortly after when Thomas Muller found the back of the net to seal a comfortable victory on the road.

Mesut Ozil received a rating of 7.52 from whoscored.com. The Arsenal playmaker too two shots on target, made one key pass and maintained a passing accuracy of 89%.  The 26-year-old has made 64 appearances for the German national team.

Germany now have to 10 points from five games, as many as leaders Poland, who take on Ireland later on Sunday. Georgia have won just one of their five qualifiers and sit second bottom of the group.
