Germany take on England at Berlin’s imposing Olympic Stadium in the first of their Euro 2016 preparation games.

Joachim Low has revealed that Besiktas star striker Mario Gomez will start upfront. The prolific forward has 21 goals this season for the Turkish Super League leaders.

Arsenal star Mesut Ozil is also likely to start after returning to training following an ankle injury in the 2-0 victory over Everton last weekend.

England will be without the injured Wayne Rooney while Manchester City duo Joe Hart and Raheem Sterling are also a doubt.

Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has also been called up for Germany and is along with Ozil one of the two ethnic Turks in the national team.
