Ghana international John Boye completes Sivasspor transfer

Sivasspor have completed the transfer of Ghana international John Boye on a two year deal with the option to extent by an additional season.

The club confirmed the transfer on their official website and shared a picture of Boye at his signing ceremony.

Boye played for Kayseri Erciyesspor last season and made 23 appearances for the Kayseri based side.

The Ghana international has also played at Heart of Lions FC and Rennes in the past.

Boye joined Erciyesspor from Ligue 1 outfit Rennes this summer on a two-year deal.

The 27-year-old defender made a total of 74 appearances for Rennes, scoring three times and providing one assist.

Boye has 39 international caps for Ghana and has scored three times and provided two assists for the Black Stars.

The Yiğidolar drew their opening game of the season 2-2 against reigning champions Galatasaray.

Sivasspor are currently managed by Sergen Yalçın and take on Eskişehirspor on the road next.
