Arsenal youngster Serge Gnabry has admitted that he has been a fan of Mesut Özil since he was 10 years old.
“It’s a funny story,” the forward told Arsenal Player.
“He teases me with it up to this day. He was involved in a tournament near my home town and I was about 10 years old, so I always went to watch it.”
“He was the best player at the tournament and I got a picture with him back then – but you better not ask him about it because otherwise he will be too happy!”

Mesut Ozil reveals he has a sixth sense
Gnabry like Özil was born in Germany into an immigrant family.
The 19-year-old joined Arsenal from Stuttgart in 2011 and has a total of one goal and an assist for in 18 appearances for the Gunners.
Özil was born in Germany but was eligible to represent both his country of birth and Turkey at international level.
The 26-year-old became the first player of Turkish origin to win the World Cup with Germany in the summer.
Özil has a total of four goals and five assists in 16 appearances this season.
