“Getting to the next round was important but I do not want to talk about the football,” Güneş was quoted as saying by Eurosport TR after the game.

The 90 minutes ended in a goalless draw and a goal form either side in extra-time sent the game into a penalty shoot out.

The Green Crocodiles had the chance to win the game in the first half when Fernandao was awarded a penalty but the Brazilian missed from the spot kick.

Bursaspor will find out their quarter-final opponents at the end of the week.

The Green Crocodiles are currently fourth in the Süper Lig but face a tough test on the weekend away against league leaders Beşiktaş.
