Hakan Çalhanoğlu has no interest in joining Barcelona according to his agent Bektas Demirtas.
The 21-year-old has attracted the attention of many clubs around Europe this season due to his impressive form in the Bundesliga.
“Barcelona have reported and expressed their interest,” Demirtas told Express.
“Not to sound arrogant but, for Hakan, interest from Barcelona is not interesting. He has everything he needs at Leverkusen.
“He’s playing in the Champions League and competing for the DFB-Pokal – plus things are going well for him in the Bundesliga.”
Çalhanoğlu has a reputation as a set-piece specialist. Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola rates the 21-year-old as one of the best free-kick takers in the league.
“Çalhanoğlu is one of the best free-kick takers in the Bundesliga,” Guardiola told Hurriyet.
Çalhanoğlu has scored ten times and provided seven assists in all competitions for the Bundesliga outfit.
The Turkish international was named best young player of the 2013/14 season by leading German football magazine 11 Freunde.
