Hamit Altintop is in a race to prove his fitness ahead of this weekends clash with Akhisar Belediyespor this weekend.
Galatasaray’s club doctor spoke to NTVspor about Altintop and Koray Gunter’s fitness situations.
“Altintop is continuing his recovery program. He has a slight tear in his hamstring,” Yener Ince stated.
“We will have a better grasp of the situation on Saturday. It is too early to say if he will be able to play against Akhisar.”
Felipe Melo and Semih Kaya have however, returned from lengthy injuries. Galatasaray star Wesley Sneijder will also return this weekend after serving a one match suspension.
