Hamzaoğlu admits he made mistakes against Gençlerbirliği [divider]
Galatasaray boss Hamza Hamzaoğlu admitted he might have made a mistake with his substitutions in the 1-1 draw against Gençlerbirliği.
“Perhaps I was late making the substitutions and changes,” Hamzaoğlu said.
“I could have took off one of the forwards and strengthened the midfield earlier but unfortunately it was too late and we conceded.
“We were missing key players like Chedjou and Sneijder but it is no excuse.
“Sure we did miss their presence and what they offer us but we should have done better.
“The surface was not great, it was a really tough game on a terrible surface but I still want to thank the players who did play yesterday. It was not easy, we had many missing players but they tried their hardest.”
Gençlerbirliği remain unbeaten at home in their last seven games following the draw.
