“We can make it to the end and lift the cup, god willing we will be able to achieve our goal to win the Turkish Cup,” Hamzaoğlu said.
Former Galatasaray boss Roberto Mancini guided the Turkish giants to the final last season and lifted the cup.
Galatasaray will be joined by Fenerbahçe, Manisaspor, Kayserispor, Bursaspor, Sivasspor, Mersin İdman Yurdu and Gençlerbirliği in the last eight.
Hamzaoğlu has yet to win any silverware as a manager but has only been coaching for five years.
Galatasaray are also involved in the title race. The Lions are currently in 3rd place just two points away from Süper Lig leaders Beşiktaş.
