Image: Germany international has now won 2 trophies since leaving Arsenal last season

Turkish Cup champions Galatasaray beat Istanbul rivals Besiktas on a penalty shoot-out in Konya on Sunday.

Hakan Balta opened the scoring for the Lions but centre-back Chedjou levelled the scores with an own goal to force the game into extra-time and then penalties.

Lukas Podolski started for the Lions but was unable to complete the entire game due to picking up an injury.

Podolski scored the winning goal against Fenerbahce in the Turkish Cup to get Galatasaray into the Super Cup and has now won two trophies since leaving Arsenal last summer.

The Germany international striker sent out the following Tweet posing with the trophy after the game.

The experienced forward has already added more silverware to his cabinet than he did during his time at the Gunners.

Podolski has won domestic titles in every country he has played in except Italy and has also won the World Cup with Germany.
