Mesut Ozil’s management company has confirmed that Mesut Ozil has received enquiries from clubs around Europe.
The Turkish newspaper Fanatik recently reported that Barcelona had established contact with Ozil’s agent Erkut Söğüt to enquire about the availability of the Arsenal star.
“It is also correct that there are enquiries for him constantly,” Ozil’s management company told Bild (via Goal).
“Mesut is a World Cup winner, the most creative player in Europe, Germany’s top player – of course other top teams are interested.”
The Germany international has been in impressive form this season with six goals in all competitions as well as 16 assists in the Premier League – the highest in the league.
Arsenal side are currently joint second in the Premier League with rivals Tottenham. The Gunners’ are five points behind leaders Leicester City.
Ozil’s side have the opportunity to reduce the gap to just two points when they take on Leicester this weekend in the league.
