Fenerbahce manager Ismail Kartal has been preparing to switch his sides formation from a 4-3-3 to a 4-4-2 in recent weeks.
The 53-year-old manager has been experimenting with the 4-4-2 formation in training with the view to score more goals.
Fenerbahce played 30 minutes of their Super League encounter against Balikesirspor in a 4-4-2 formation.
The Yellow Canaries have been playing in a 4-3-3 formation since Aykut Kocaman’s spell in charge. The yellow canaries also played a 4-3-3 under Ersun Yanal last season.
The Istanbul giants take on a struggling Sivasspor on Friday at the Sivas 4 Eylül Stadium.
