Besiktas have set their sights on signing Inter Milan’s out-of-favour striker Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa.
Sources close to Besiktas have revealed to Turkish-Football that the Serie A giants are prepared to let the Brazil international leave on loan in January.
The highly rated youngster has hardly featured for Inter this season since joining from Santos over the summer transfer window.
Barbosa arrived at Inter to much fanfare given he was labelled the ‘next Neymar’ by the media. The 19-year-old helped Brazil to Olympic gold over the Summer.
Manchester United have also been linked with a move for the Brazilian wonder-kid according to a report in The Sun, although based on his comments, it appears as though he would favour the chance to feature with Neymar for the Catalan giants.
The 19-year-old was in impressive form at club level for Santos earlier this season having scored five goals in 10 appearances in all competitions.
