Ivory Coast beat Cameroon 1-0 to progress to the quarter-finals at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Cameroon were sent crashing out of the group stages following the defeat after finishing last in the group.

A long-range strike from Max Gradel gave Ivory Coast the lead in the first half. The goal ended up being the Elephants golden ticket into the next round.

Galatasaray defender Aurelian Chedjou started for Cameroon and while the 29-year-old defender will be disappointed with his sides performance the Lions will be glad to have him back.
