Jurgen Klopp given boost as Euro 2016 semi-finalist makes Liverpool squad ahead of Arsenal clash

Liverpool take on Arsenal at the Emirates in their opening Premier League clash of the season in what looks like being the game of the week.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp was given a boost after star midfielder Emre Can was declared fit for action. The Germany international of Turkish origin is expected to feature against Arsenal on Sunday.

Can has only managed to play 45 minutes in his recent friendlies against Roma, Barcelona and Mainz 05 after returning to team training late due to an extended break following Euro 2016.

The 22-year-old starred for Germany in the Euro 2016 semi-final which they ended up losing against hosts France.

Elsewhere Daniel Sturridge and James Milner remain doubts but Dejan Lovren and Marko Grujic have both recovered from injures.

Goalkeeper Loris Karius is out injured while Mamadou Sakho is out with an achilles injury.
