Karabükspor becomes Yılmaz Vural’s 25th club
Karabükspor’s newly appointed manager Yilmaz Vural has a longer C.V. then most in the business. The experienced manager has now managed 25 different sides including his current Karabükspor job.
In total Vural has been appointed to 30 different managerial roles since starting at Malatyaspor in 1986.
Teams Yilmaz Vural has managed:
Malatyaspor, Antalyaspor, Samsunspor, Bursaspor, Karşıyaka, Adanaspor, Gaziantepspor, Eskişehirspor, Sarıyer, Trabzonspor, Gençlerbirliği, Konyaspor, Çanakkale Dardanelspor, Denizlispor, Diyarbakırspor, Çaykur Rizespor, Ankaragücü, Kocaelispor, Manisaspor, Kasımpaşa, Sakaryaspor, Elazığspor, Mersin İdmanyurdu and Osmanlıspor.
Vural replaces Tolunay Kafkas as manager of Karabükspor. The Steelers recently parted ways with Kafkas after a string of poor results.
Kafkas became the second Süper Lig manager to be sacked in 2015. The experienced manager was unable to record a single victory in his last seven games in charge.
Karabükspor are currently in the relegation zone in 17th place. The Steelers have lost five and drawn two of their last seven games and have only recorded 17 points all season.
