Karabukspor in talks with Galatasaray duo Umut Gündoğan and Furkan Özçal [divider]
Galatasaray have released a statement confirming that Karabükspor have entered talks with Umut Gündoğan and Furkan Özçal.
The statement read: “Karabükspor are in talks with Umut Gündoğan and Furkan Özçal over a loan transfer for both players.”
Gündoğan and Özçal have struggled for playing time this season.
Galatasaray manager Hamza Hamzaoğlu plans to reduce Galatasaray’s squad size and the club are expected to part ways or loan out several fringe players.
Gündoğan joined Galatasaray on a £500,000 move from Bucaspor last January but has only made five appearances for the Lions.
Özçal joined Galatasaray on a free transfer from Kayserispor in 2012.
The 23-year-old attacking midfielder has only ever made two appearances for the Lions but still has two years left on his contract.
