Karl-Heinz Riedle tips Man Utd target Gundogan to join Barcelona

The former Germany international striker Karl-Heinz Riedle has tipped Ilkay Gündoğan to join Barcelona.

Barcelona are preparing to hold late talks with Gündoğan in Ibiza amid reports the 24-year-old is on the verge of a switch to Manchester United.

The Express has stated that the Catalan club’s representatives will travel to Ibiza where Gündoğan is on holiday to persuade the German midfielder to change his mind.

According to the Turkish news agency DHA, Barcelona are having difficulties negotiating with Gündoğan’s agent and father Irfan Gündoğan who is demanding €12 million-per-year for his client.
