Kasimpasa prepare for Karabukspor clash

Kasimpasa will be looking to put last weekends humiliation behind them as they prepare to take on Karabukspor in the Turkish Super Lig this weekend.

The Pasalar were beaten 6-2 last weekend by Mersin idmanyudu leaving them in 9th place with 21 points in 19 games.

Arveladze was rumoured to be on the verge of being sacked following the humiliating defeat but Öksüz confirmed that the Georgian manager would be staying.

“We have no concerns regarding our manager, Shota Arveladze will be in charge of the club for years to come,” Öksüz was quoted as saying by Eurosport TR.

 

Kasimpasa take on Karabukspor for the eighth time in the Super Lig tomorrow. Of the seven games played against each other Kasaimpasa have won four, lost two and drawn once.

Karabukspor have scored seven goals in these encounters while Kasimpasa have found the back of the net 11 times.

The Blue Flames currently find themselves in 17th place in the league with 16 points in 19 games.

The encounter kicks off at 13:13 on Saturday at the Dr. Necmettin Şeyhoğlu Stadium.
