Kasımpaşa vice-president Hasan Hilmi Öksüz has confirmed that his side would consider an offer from Galatasaray for Ryan Donk.

“We have not had an offer and he still has a year on his contract but if Galatasaray were to make an offer we would enter talks,” Öksuz told Radyospor.

Donk recently sparked rumours of a Galatasaray move after he told Netherlands newspaper Telegraaf that he would accept an offer from the Lions.

Galatasaray are yet to confirm interest in the experienced defender but would have to wait until the end of the season to sign Donk due to the foreign player ruling.

The current ruling set by the Turkish Foootball Federation (TFF) states that a club can only sign eight foreign players and that only five can play at any one time in a domestic game.

The rules will however, change next season, clubs will be able to play 11 foreign players in domestic games which would make the experienced defender a more viable target.

Donk has been playing in Turkey since moving to Kasimpasa from Club Brugge in July 2013 for an undisclosed fee.
