Kayseri Erciyesspor appoint Fatih Tekke as manager

Suat Altın İnşaat Kayseri Erciyesspor have appointed the former Trabzonspor striker Fatih Tekke as their new manager.
Tekke has never managed a side before and was the sporting director of Orduspor prior to today’s appointment.
The 37-year-old replaces Mehmet Özdilek who resigned as manager of Kayseri Erciyesspor following a disappointing run of results.
Erciyesspor have lost four games in a row and have suffered eight defeats in their last ten games in the Turkish Super Lig.
The Blue Dragons sit in 16th place with 20 points in 25 games. The relegation battlers are seven points off 15th placed Eskisehirspor.

Erciyesspor’s former manager Özdilek had signed a one and a half year contract with the Blue Dragons. The 48-year-old manager has previously managed Gençlerbirliği, Antalyaspor and Malatyaspor.
