Konyaspor were knocked out of the Turkish Cup Last 16 following their 4-1 loss against Galatasaray.
Anatolian Eagles manager Aykut Kocaman praised Galatasaray’s efficiency following the game.
“Galatasaray have an amazing shot to goal ratio against us,” Kocaman told Sporx after the game.
The Anatolian Eagles also suffered a humiliating defeat against Galatasaray in the Süper Lig.
The Lions beat Konyaspor 5-0 in the league back in December.
Kocaman’s side have let in more goals in their last seven games than every other team in the league.
Konyaspor have conceded 16 goals in their last 7 league games.
The Anatolian Eagles have however, only let in 26 goals in total over the league campaign.
Kocaman previously won the 2010-11 Süper Lig title as manager of Fenerbahçe. The experienced coach has also won two Turkish Cup trophies and reached the semi-finals of the 2012-13 Europa League.
Konyaspor have won their last two consecutive league games and take on Sivasspor next at the Torku Konya Arena.
