Konyaspor – Gaziantepspor: Preview & Prediction [divider]
Konyaspor host Gaziantepspor at their brand, spanking new 42,000 seater stadium.
Konyaspor are undefeated at their new stadium and with the recent appointment of Aykut Kocaman there is a feeling around the city that this could mark the start of a golden era for the club.
Kocaman famously won the league with Fenerbahçe and is largely responsible for building the Yellow Canaries system that is still used today.
Konyaaspor will be without the injured Ciprian Marica but otherwise have a clean bill of health.
Gaziantepspor have another of the leagues most promising managers in Okan Buruk. The Falcons are one of the leagues most in form teams having not lost in their last four games but their away record is of concern.
Gaziantepspor have only won four points away from home this season.
This is a battle between two up and coming managers, on the one hand Konyaspor have yet to beat Gaziantepspor in three tries on the other hand the Falcons are one of the worst performing away sides in the league. Hard to pick a side in this one but looking at the goal markets Konyaspor’s last four home games have gone Under 2.5 goals and Kocaman is renowned for his controlled football.
