Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has heaped praise on his in-form player Emre Can following a string of impressive performances.
The former Swansea City manager has bee particularly impressed with Can’s versatility and ability on the ball.
Can played in midfield during Liverpool’s clash with Besiktas in the Europa League on Thursday.
“He likes to play but he also like to play in that back three as well and drive forward. He gives us that confidence on the ball. Rodgers told the Mirror.
“He has played three or four positions for me and he is a top class footballer.”
Brendan Rodgers moved Can back to defence for last weekends clash with Manchester City in the Premier League.
The Germany U21 international has one goal and one assist in 27 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions this season.
