Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp 'lives for football' says Emre Can

Emre Can has stated that Liverpool’s boss Jurgen Klopp is a ‘very emotional’ manager.

The enigmatic German manager is known for his celebrations on the touchline and passionate post-match interviews.

Can went onto state that the former Dortmund manager ‘lives for football’ and that he should never change.

“Everyone knows Mr Klopp is very, very emotional. It’s simple: he lives for football. He loves football; he should never change,” Can was quoted as saying by the Liverpool Echo.

“That’s the way he is. Being that passionate about football is the best way.”

Can played the full 90 minutes during Liverpool’s 1-0 defeat at the hands of their rivals Manchester United in the Premier League.

The 22-year-old played in midfield once again alongside Lucas Leiva and Jordan Henderson. The Germany international has been a constant feature in the Red’s starting line-up since the appointment of Jurgen Klopp.

Liverpool dropped down to ninth place following todays defeat while united moved up into fifth place, two points behind Tottenham.
