Liverpool will travel to Istanbul ahead of their Europa League Round of 32 clash against Beşiktaş without captain Steven Gerrard according to the Liverpool Echo.
The 34-year-old will miss the Reds return to the Atatürk Olympic stadium, the setting for one of the greatest Champions League final comebacks in history.
Liverpool won the 2005 Champions League final against AC Milan at the same stadium.
Gerrard has not played since suffering a hamstring problem against Tottenham in the Premier League.
The Reds will also be without Lazar Markovic who will be serving the second game of his four match European competition ban.
Lucas Levia will also not play for Liverpool against Beşiktaş.
Liverpool won the first-leg at Anfield 1-0 thanks to a late penalty from Mario Balotelli.
Beşiktaş beat Liverpool the last time they faced the Reds in European competition on home soil.
The Black Eagles have not lost against English opposition in European competition this season.
