Liverpool have kicked off their 2015-16 Premier League season in impressive fashion with back-to-back victories.

The Reds latest win was against newly promoted Bournemouth at Anfield. The match was the first time the two sides have met in the league and moved the Reds up into third place after two games.

Emre Can was left out the Liverpool starting lineup by manager boss Brendan Rodgers but came on as a substitute for club captain Jordan Henderson in the second half.

The 21-year-old received a rating of 6.73 from Whoscored. The Germany u21 international made four tackles after coming off the bench. Can also maintained a passing accuracy of 81%.

Christian Benteke scored the games only goal with a strike from inside the area.

This was the first time Liverpool faced the newly promoted Bournemouth. The Red’s are yet to concede in the Premier League and have won both games by a single goal.

Summer signings Benteke, Milner and Clyne all made their second start for Liverpool yesterday. Liverpool take on Arsenal next weekend.
