Liverpool & Man Utd miss out signing on Turkey wonder-kid

Borussia Dortmund announced FC Nordsjaelland attacking midfielder Emre Mor as their fourth transfer of the summer on their official website today.

Dortmund managed to beat Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Juventus and Bursaspor in the race to sign the highly-rated 18-year-old.

Mor signed a five-year deal with the Bundesliga outfit for an undisclosed fee.

The Daily Star reported that Liverpool were actually favourites the sign the Denmark born wonder-kid and ESPN claimed that the Reds were close to making an offer.

The same report also stated that Manchester United and Manchester City were in the race.

Juventus meanwhile sent scouts to Turkey’s 1-0 victory over Slovenia to keep tabs on the young attacking midfielder – where he got his second senior international cap.

The Turkish press meanwhile reported that Bursaspor were actually offered Mor last season but turned him down.

Mor returned back to France after signing the deal to rejoin the Turkish national side for their Euro 2016 preparations.

The 18-year-old had the highest average dribble per-game average in Europe last season (4.92) and broke into the senior Nordsjaelland and Turkish national team sides.
