Liverpool & Man Utd target Gundogan top of Serie A giants shortlist

Ilkay Gundogan

Ilkay Gündoğan is top of Juventus’ shortlist going into the January transfer window according to Calciomercato.

The report states that while the Germany international is Juve’s first choice, they have targeted other options as it may be difficult to sign the in-form midfielder from Dortmund.

The 25-year-old has been linked with a move to Liverpool ever since the arrival of his former manager Jurgen Klopp last month.

The Bundesliga Giants also rejected an approach from Manchester United over the summer according to the German newspaper Express.

Gündoğan recently played down reports linking him with a move away from Dortmund but opted not to rule them out completely.

“About my future? I currently have no idea. This is very, very far away,” Gündoğan told Sport1.

Dortmund sit in second place in the Bundesliga with 29 points in 13 games.
