Emre Can has been pictured by the beach relaxing following his exit from the Under-21 European championship.
Can played the full 90 minutes in Germany U-21’s humiliating 5-0 defeat at the hands of Portugal U-21.
The 21-year-old’s friend Cuneyt posted a picture on Instagram of the former Bayer Muncih man relaxing in the sun.
The Germany U-21 international is expected to move into midfield next season following the Red’s signing of Nathaniel Clyne from Southampton.
Can recently revealed that he has spoken with Rodgers about his desire to play in midfield and that the Reds boss also wants to see him play in the teams centre.
“Of course, we talked about this. The manager has said he sees me as a midfielder, and that’s where I want to play in the near future,” Can told the Anfield Wrap.
The Liverpool star is currently on holiday in Bodrum (Turkey) and is expected to return to Liverpool shortly ahead of pre-season training.
Can made a total of 27 appearances for the Premier League outfit this season and also featured in the FA Cup and Europa League.
