Liverpool midfielder Emre Can revealed that the Reds aim to reach the FA Cup final in an interview with the official club website.
“It’s a great stadium and we want to get there, all of us, so we’ve got to win the game at Palace and get nearer to achieving the target of getting to the final at that great stadium,” Can said.
The Reds beat Liverpool 2-1 at Selhurst Park to progress to the FA Cup quarter-finals on Satruday 14 February.
Can started in defence for the 12th consecutive game for the Reds.
The 21-year-old made two tackles, two interceptions and six blocks against Palace. Whoscored awarded the powerful midfielder a 7.23 rating.
Can also underlined that he would love to play in Wembley and that the stadium is also popular in Germany.
“It’s a very well respected stadium back in Germany,” he added.
“The final of the Champions League was there in 2013 and I was there, but didn’t play.”
Can was born in Frankfurt, Germany but is eligible to represent both his country of birth and Turkey at international level due to being of Turkish descent.
