Liverpool have been linked with a move for Galatasaray’s goalkeeper Fernando Muslera.
According to reports in the Turkish media today, Liverpool are preparing a bid in the region of €10 million for the Uruguayan international.
The Red’s boss Brendan Rodgers is after a new keeper following a string of mistakes from Simon Mignolet.
Galatasaray have valued Muslera at €20 million and have rejected all previous offers for the Uruguayan international.
AC Milan are also reported to be keeping tabs on Muslera as they continue efforts to sign a new goalkeeper over the transfer window.
The 27-year-old played an integral role in the Lion’s back-to-back title winning seasons – 2011-13.
The Uruguayan international has also won the Copa America and finished the 2010 World Cup in fourth place for Uruguay.
