Fenerbahce left back Caner Erkin has ‘secretly’ undergone a medical with Inter Milan according to the Italian outlet, Tuttomercatoweb.
The report goes onto state that the news come’s amid multiple attempts by Liverpool to overtake Inter in the race to sign the 27-year-old.
Everton are also in the race to sign Erkin according to the Express newspaper.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan are understood to be closing in on a €2.2 million deal for Fenerbahce‘s Erkin according to NTV Spor pundit Ridvan Dilmen.
Erkin has attracted interest from across Europe and could be available on a free-transfer in the summer if the Istanbul giants fail to sign a contract extension deal.
The Turkish international star has eight assists and one goal in 27 appearances for Fenerbahce this season.
Fenerbahce have racked up 64 points in 29 games in the Turkish Super League and take on Gaziantepspor this weekend.
