Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has stated that Liverpool want to win the Europa League this season.
During an interview with Bild the 22-year-old insisted that five times European champions Liverpool
“Our target in every competition is to win it,” Can told Bild.
The Germany international started in midfield and played an influential role in Liverpool’s 6-0 win over Aston Villa in the Premier League last week.
Liverpool moved into 8th place on 38 points following the victory while Aston Villa remain cemented to the bottom of the table.
